Hi can any one help
I have a 2011 1.5 dci ..I can drive round all day up hill down hill no problem ..BUT when I hit 4000rpm the esp skid light comes on
When I turn the car off and restart it , it’ stays off ......untill I hit 4000rpm

Today I drove around 5 miles not going any were near 4000rpm and it appeared again ..

No warning lights .. no loss of power ...runs very smooth ..weather the esp is on or off

It starts 1st time every time hot or cold ..runs like a dream
Just this esp anti skid light

Can any one advice

ESP Function:
1. Electronic Stability Program system detects driver′s steering operation amount and brake pedal travel from steering angle sensor and pressure sensor. Using information from yaw rate sensor, G sensor and wheel sensor, ESP judges driving condition (conditions of under steer and over steer) to improve vehicle driving
stability by controlling brake application to 4 wheels and engine output.
2. During ESP operation, it informs driver of system operation by flashing SLIP indicator lamp.
3. Electrical system diagnosis by CONSULT-III is available.

Its a fairly complex system as regards sensors and processing to control the braking system and engine. Looks like a visit to Nissan really.

Effectively you are seeing Slip indications from the system by the indicator lamp showing periodically...which is possibly false?

Can be the pipe at the back of the engine that gets blocked up and needs cleaning out. Quite a few threads on here about the.

Any answer found please as same problem after changing the fuel filter?

did you change the filter with the same type as you removed ?
