Took car to local Nissan dealer today.
They checked gearbox function and found no fluid leaks. Told there is a need to fully depress clutch when changing gear as gearbox fitted to 1.3ltr model has this requirement. This not the case with 1.2ltr model.
Will see how I get one during next long drive.
