Since Saturday I'm having a message error showing up on my dashboard. Saying that the stop and start system has a fault. Also the speed limiter is auto disabled about 30s after engaging it.

Now when I went to my dealer ship they told me it had something to do with the Exhaust Gas Door, but after viewing few videos I noticed that it had nothing to with it.

Also, the EGD has been opened and toyed with. the replacement part I found had the 147B08010R--C Ref and the part in my car has 147B08010R--B and it comes with the whole exhaust pipe, should I get if really the fault is in the exhaust gas door and just cut it and reattached it to my exhaust?

I have the J11 (J18 model) with 1.6 dCi and automatic gearbox

I thought so too, but even when I drive (when the battery is supposed to recharge) the issue is still present.

.
Have a search on here about battery issues.
Some of the batteries fitted at the factory which weren’t really up to the job.

Sorry I can’t help

Did the dealer mention anything about error codes (DTCs) they should have scanned for? You'll need to find out if such codes exist to aid diagnostics. Otherwise its mainly guess work.

Hi. I had almost the exact same issue. Stop/start system fault appeared, and also the speed limiter and cruise control failed to work. Took the car to my Nissan dealer who confirmed it was the dreaded battery, and a new battery was fitted under warranty. I too own a 1.6dci with CVT gearbox.

Hope this helps.

They did find a p1480.

Today I changed one sensor, the p1480 disappeared and a new one related to FAP/DFP appeared and it needs to be changed too. I'll wait until Saturday to go look for it and change it.

That's what I noticed while on the road this afternoon (about 300km) they did work for about 60min over 240min of the road trip.

Hi again.

I've just had look back at some of my old posts and remember that I also had an air intake sensor replaced (under warranty), just after the battery was replaced. Apparently my Nissan dealer told me the start/stop system failure was caused by the battery, and the speed limiter/cruise control fault was caused by the faulty air intake sensor!? Unfortunately I don't know the error code for that. A few months later I had a faulty oxygen sensor replaced under warranty as the engine management light was glowing orange. The error code for that was P0136. Not sure if this info is any help, but hope you get it sorted. Touchwood (he says gripping the dining table tightly), I have had no further issues with my Qq, and the issues I have mentioned, were 3 years ago now! How time flies during a pandemic!

Cheers
Doug

From diagnostics: P1480 EXHAUST ELECTRIC THROTTLE CONTROL ACTUATOR

Engine Management detects performance related to exhaust and probably would disrupt Speed (Cruise/Limit) control
Faults detected:
• Exhaust throttle valve regulation error.
• ECM detects an incorrect closed position of the exhaust throttle valve.
