Afternoon everyone

I have a 2017 ntech model, im having issues with my air con not working as it should! It not completely broken and works intermittently.
So as long as my air con dial is turned onto full when I start the car it will work fine on full power and allow me to turn it off and back on with the ‘off/on’ button. As soon as I try to turn it down it goes straight to the lowest power and won’t come back up until I turn off the engine.
So I can basically have it on the lowest or highest and nothing In between.
Has anyone experienced this before, I’m hoping it’s an easy fix!!!
any advise would be greatly appreciated
Thank you in advance

Do you mean reducing the Fan (Blower) speed? Or exactly what.

The Blower is controlled by an electronic device in the cabin air con unit. Nissan call it a Power Transistor.

We usually see problems arising from that unit. That unit itself responds to temperature sensors etc to derive the correct or variable Fan speed. So the aircon system is fairly complex. You'll likely need to visit a Nissan garage to identify the problem accurately.

Welcome to this forum.

I replaced the blower resistor on my 2004 Fabia buying the part on eBay for £7 - but modern cars are so much more involved and integrated. Sounds like a dealer trip to me too.
