Luke, I had these Installed on our QQ J11A but these were Nissan Parts and they stayed on for 5 years until sold no problem.
On the QQ J11B the Rear Strip is from VMaxx Germany (Cheaper) and the Front from Nissan.
Whether Expensive or Cheaper Products the Trick is normally in the Preparation & Application on the Parts meaning that the surfaces are cleaned, the 3M or Double sided Tape is applied correctly and the Position is correct - normally you have one chance as when it’s stuck it’s stuck - Best of Luck Dave 😊

Any tips for preparation?

I see you gave the crossover pack in what looks white, do these require additional drilling or do they use the existing fixings?
Thanks.

luke0586 asked,
Any tips for preparation?

Hi have the tailgate bottom strip.....AutolineAccessoriesLimited on amazon.

As said earlier preparation and position is key. I always wipe down the area with IPA solution to degrease the surface.
I placed small pieces of masking tape as positioning markers and you can hinge the strip with one or two pieces of masking tape so it hangs down in the correct position.

IMPORTANT........Do a practice run with a helper with the backing protector still in place.

Check to see if the backing protector is one complete length and if it is a single or dual adhesive strip.

The aim of the helper is to act as a guide and to keep most of the strip off the car apart from the few contact centimetres you are pressing on as you go along. You will Gradually peel away the backing protector from the top or underneath ,bit by bit....press by press pulling away only the immediate backing protector tape that you need and constantly checking alignment.
This way you get a bit of flexibility in the event of slight misalignment.

When you are ready to go Peel off a few centimetres on one edge to start you off.
If the backing tape is in a split length then loosen a few centimetres of that aswel as it will be awkward to get it later as you stick on the strip.
It is a one shot job, if you mess up than a fair bit of tedious adhesive tape removal will await you..
It's taken me ten times longer to write this than to do it so crack on, preferably on a warm day and and don't wet the car for a day or two. Clean with car polish once fitted.
Best of luck it looks great once it's on.

Luke, your Application question has already been answered, but if of interest there are lots of good articles around on these type of problems from Companies like 3M etc. - Dave 😏
8 Reasons Double-Sided Tape Fails [And How to Fix It] | ECHOTape : https://www.echotape.com/blog/8-reasons ... will-fail/

Regarding the Front & Rear Valances we had them Color Matched to the QQ as we thought the Grey Color looked “Plasticky”.
From what I can remember 5 years ago you just need Self Tapping Screws to Mount them.

One additional step I often carry out on external strips that are subject to rain water is to seal the top edge with silicon sealant, preferably a flowable version. Check out the picture. Use a small syringe with a fine tip and SPARINGLY flow a bead of silicone into the top edge of the strip. Don't overdo it as it could make a mess. The flowable type runs into the gap and keeps water out thus extending the life of the adhesive strip.
sorry I hadn't mentioned this earlier.

Mrugby, many thanks that comment regarding a Silicon Seal is a great Tip - Dave 👍
