J11 2014 Vehicle Information display has gone to white screen

My Qashqui vehicle information display between the dials has gone to a white screen, it’s this a common issue and any suggestions on how to fix it.

Is it a replacement dash issue and will a second hand one revert to my original mileage etc when fitted

Welcome to this forum.

I can't recall anyone reporting that issue previously.

Curious that it's gone white since that means it's getting a signal - a loose connection would have suggested a black screen wouldn't it?

i'm having the same issue, but it will clear itself after the car has stood a while,but will happen again, it's now spent 5 days with the main dealer
who could find no fault, and obviously it didn't happen while they had it... low and behold this morning, day 1 of getting it back... it's white !!!
any suggestions would be great!!!

Bought replacement off ebay and was about to fit it when old screen came back on on it own, (20 days later) Nissan dealer were willing to reprogramme replacement but would not take any responsibility although they though that as replacement was from same model/year it might just work, wanted to charge me £930 discounted down to £830 for a new one as vehicle only just out of warranty.

May have been loose connection, still working fine.

i was thinking if it was a loose connection they may have found it .. but will have to see how it goes i guess. thankyou

In the case of the info display the mileage data is held by the ECU or cluster...depending on vehicle age

Try to charge your battery, if the battery voltage drops under 12V and the car has not been used for some days the display will be white when you start the car.
I have to change the battery on my five year old qashqai.

Hi. Digging this post back up. Has anyone else had this issue or found a fix other than whats already been suggested?

My Partners car has had this issue off and on. Doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason as to when it will or wont happen, but seems to be at leat every other day now. Sometimes after a drive if you lock the car and leave it a while for the "white" display to go away and then come back and unlock it works again.
