Lost sound - help!!

Don't know if anyone has encountered this, connect lost sound a couple of times and now gone all together.

No phones paired, all visual is there and showing volume increasing on display but no audio out put from radio/ nav etc.

Have done reset through head unit and disconnected battery - no luck.

Has anybody heard of this?

Have you tried, different sources, radio, cd, aux are they all the same?

Must be a chip then, you may to change the unit, you have nothing like a paired audio device though just in case?

No nothing paired at all, as you say maybe the unit I was wondering if it a software update but guess not, thanks for help

I've had this happen 3 times to me.....I've posted here about it.Nissan GB pointed me to a dealer saying ask them about the issue. Dealer
didn't know about any issues other than a bluetooth issue which required
an update at PDI.In terms of no sound, on all occasions leaving the car switched off for a long period of time, in all 3 cases mine was overnight, the system worked fine again.We have discovered a difference between software versions, see below, on the NissanConnect.http://www.qashqaiownersclub.co.uk/foru ... 1.htmlI've asked Nissan GB and my dealer about the difference in software...mine is C013 and the newer ones have C018 installed.They are looking in to it as the dealer has no update option that they are aware of but it's possible that the "Bluetooth fix" is in fact a software update.

My wifes qashqai is only picked up a week ago, I will check the software version tonight and report back.
