Hi all,
I have a 2018 nissan qashqai tekna (4wd version).
About 3 years ago we had the battery replaced by the rac.
I'm now starting to see the battery voltage drop again (causing the alarm to go off).
Is there any bms (Battery Management System or counter) that should have been reset when the battery was replaced?
If I purchase and fit a new battery do I need to reset any BMS?
I know my volvo has such a system that regulates the batteryvto extend it life, but when the battery is replaced it needs to be reset. Do Nissans have similar systems?
Thanks
Battery management reset

2023 Qashqai "e-Power System Failure, may not restart after power off" Randomly appearing since yesterday and again today. RAC checked out and could not find any fault. Going into Nissan Service on Monday. Dis-concerting

I had a 2016 model with start/stop that had a defective battery (a known issue with a bad batch apparently). The RAC guy came out and replaced (at no charge to me) and I watched him do the reset with a device.
