👋

If you unlock the tailgate with the key, the car unlocks and the passenger side wing mirror unfolds... but the driver's side doesn't.

If I'm then going somewhere, I have to close the tailgate and either lock / unlock the car again, or get in the car and press the button to fold / unfold the mirrors a couple of times.

Is there a fix for this? Or is it a defect?

Sounds like a hidden menu setting.
If someone with a J12 comes along soon, they might know the answer.
If not - the dealer will be able to sort it out

The passenger side wing mirror also doesn't tilt down in reverse anymore... I can feel a visit to the dealership coming on 😅

There seems to be a firmware issue with the side wing mirrors.
I tried to manually open and close the side-wing mirrors but had to go back to the default settings and have it done -automatically- by the J12 itself.
This is, according to the dealership, a known issue.
I don't lock/unlock the car with the key, but press the button on the handle/door or the tailgate (or swing my foot under the car).
If I don't do it that way (but manually by pushing the side mirror-button from inside the car) then one or more of the mirror(s) may not (always) fold/unfold as it should !
