I am looking at getting the new Qashqai , I am looking at the Tekna spec with Bose - does anyone know if it has a CD player.

Are you talking about the new J12 that is being manufactured for the first time now? Or older model J11b? J12 doesn't have CD player, at least from memory of seeing the car and from images I have seen. That's why I'm converting all CDs to mp3 files and uploading them to my plex media server so I can stream them through android auto.

My J11B has a CD player - never use it though.
I have thousands of tracks on my phone - and stream via bluetooth , and sometimes , a USB storage device.
CD takes up a lot of space
