Hi,
So I have a qashqai 2017 plate, I think it is the later half of 2017 as it has the newer steering wheel. First the panel was really dark then it went to a static. Does anyone know what the issue could be? I have attached a video.
Scrambled Dash Screen.

Welcome to this forum.
I don't recall that coming up previously.
Looks like an expensive dealer visit I'm afraid.

Looking at diagnostics for failures of the Combination Meter...there is only one DTC (error code) and thats for CAN comms. This is a display chip/driver problem.
I suspect a Nissan dealer cannot perform a local fix..changing the related processor and display. It'll be the complete dials unit (binnacle?) I expect.
Since these cars are not built for ease of maintenance really I should think the complete dashboard has to be removed.
