can anyone please help i have just purchased a 2010 Qashqai +2. The front and driver side passenger interior lights do not come on and turn of in auto mode. they are fine in manual mode so its not the bulb (Boot and Passenger rear are fine)

You have either a Body Control Module (BCM) problem or a wiring harness problem related to the lamps that are not being Auto controlled.

BCM controls the switching and bright/dimming of the lamps when doors are opened etc.
