So the winter tyres and alloys arrived got them fitted on Saturday just prior to all the rain (got drenched also) and they handled the wet UK weather very well so I'm happy with my decision on getting these.

Hey,
I've just got my first qashqai and looking to get a set of winter wheels for the car, will 16inch wheels be OK for it as currently it has 225/45ZR19 but the winter wheels and tyres I seem to be finding are: 215/65R16
I'm also thinking of getting plain black steel rims rather than alloys.

JD!, we actually had on our Old QQ J11A (2014) for 5 years Winter use the Nissan Std. 16" Steel Wheels with Goodyear 215/65 R16 Tyres with Nissan Plastic Trim, they were not pretty but they did function in the Winter weather. These appear in the websites but do not forget you still need the TPMS Valves which are on the expensive side - Best of Luck Dave 😉
PS : take a look in “Search” for more information !

Mike, I think that JD! is looking for 16" Winter Tyres these others advertised are the BiG Boys @ 19", but he might be interested still - Dave ;)

Yes, Dave, but they’re likely to cost less than new and it will help a fellow forum member
