Anyone out there that can give a honest review of this engine please?

I currently have the 1.6 turbo diesel and was looking for comparison power economy etc real world.

Is it a renault engine also

The only experience I have with this engine is when a close friend had 2014 one
I was able to compare it directly with my 2017 1.5 and actually preferred the power delivery of his car, despite it being an automatic.
March '22 - J12 1.3DIG-T 160 CVT Tekna+ with all wheel drive - Pearl Black
July '19 - J11B 1.3DIG-T 160 DCT Tekna - Vivid Blue
March '17 - Qashqai J11A 1.5dci n-connecta - gunmetal
September '14 - Juke 1.5dci gunmetal acenta premium (red accent packs)

Thank you 160 bhp versus the 115 bhp 1.5 diesel o would be disappointed that you didn't notice a difference 😉

I’ve got a manual 2018 1.6 DIG-T 160 BHP. Had it a few years now and hasn’t missed a beat. Doesn’t use oil between services and has taken me from West Lothian to Birmingham/Manchester a few times. Consistently returns high 40’s to mid 50’s mpg depending on the run. It has more than enough grunt even fully loaded. When I bought it the mpg was being reported as 58mpg on the computer but I bettered that on a trip to Manchester and back! (See attached photo)

Is it renault or nissan or an other

Just can't decide this or the 1.6 diesel again, if torque is decent on the petrol I know it won't match the diesel but wanted something bit nippier
