I recently purchased a 2020 vehicle and the map showed the speed cameras and alerted me when I was approaching them and also when I was going over the speed limit.
I foolishly updated the maps using my own wifi from the house. It appears the cameras have completely gone. I've tried going in the settings and enabling the safety cameras and speed limit warning tick boxes
I called Nissan's customer service number and got a email :
"Thank you for contacting Nissan Customer Services about the Speed Camera features and your Nissan Qashqai.
Regrettably, the Speed Camera function is not available for use in your vehicle due to a design decision made by Nissan.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause."
I asked them why but they did not reply.
I can't think of any logical reason. Has anyone else had the same issue and how do I get them back.
I would appear any updates would wipe the cameras off the map
Thank you in advance for any help

Most of the fixed speed cams have been turned off for over 10yrs so the map updates is never gonna know if the cams are still there or not. Don't drive over the speed limit and you'll never have to worry about missing them little beeps and warnings from the sat-nav
