This might be worth a read regarding Alloy Wheel Damage. There have been several reports over the years on the Forum regarding the “White Worm” Syndrome which is normally a Manufacturing Defect and if caught in time a Nissan Guarantee Issue. But Kerb Damages can normally result in Scuffing or Severe Damages which do cost to repair or even replace. Personally since buying the QQ in 2014 I always use the Camera when Parking alongside a Kerb and at present all is well. When you have 2 Sets of Alloy Wheels like us (Summer / Winter) it does make you a little more careful regarding the cost

Bill to repair all kerb-damaged car wheels in the UK would cost £380m : https://mol.im/a/10092903

I haven't kerb-damaged a wheel in recent memory - certainly not with the last 5 cars.
(2015 Nissan Qashqai Tekna DIG-T 1.2 sold 15/6/18) ~ 2018 Suzuki Ignis SZ5 - 2018 Yamaha MT-07 ~ (2024 Volvo EX30 ordered)

The £380 quoted would depend on whether you have diamond cut or not. My last set of wheels I had refurbished were about £60 per wheel, It's not just kerbing, we have some massive potholes that can cause a lot of damage
Past cars Mercedes B Class, S Class, E Class Estate, E Class Coupe, G Wagen, 260E interspersed with Peugeot 406 and Audi Coupe.

Consider the £50 it'll cost you to refurb that wheel as an "idiot tax" - I don't mean that in a bad way, just an expensive life lesson. I kerbed a wheel in my Aston about an hour after buying it, when parking on my driveway. Missus at the time didn't hear the noisy exhaust but heard me turning the air blue for most of the northern hemisphere when the f-ing and blinding started.

Also, Fiesta ST? I recognise those snowflake alloys. Nexen tyres all round?
