This is not QQ related, this E-Bike has been getting some attention here as competition to BMW as they have a Motorcycle Factory here in Berlin. Just thought that some of Motorbike Members might be interested in something a bit different - Dave 😏

“Bonfire X comes with a unique dual battery system. Unlike traditional electric motorcycles, the batteries are connected in series. Thereby delivering plenty of power to leave everyone behind.”

Well that's pretty ugly!

I'm pondering the revised Livewire if the price reduction announced in America works its way through to the UK market early next year.

At least it doesn't look home-built!:

I've sat on one and it's surprisingly narrow!

Gloucester, if you have the Money Great but if you are on a Budget the Bonfire is the Bargain as a Starter Model.the comparison is like a Mini vs a Rolls Royce - you get what you pay for Dave 🤭

Bonfire X price €5.299,00 Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

Livewire : The biggest change will be felt by your wallet though as the price looks to be drastically reduced compared to the H-D version of the bike. UK prices haven’t been announced as the One won’t make it to non-American markets until 2022 but the US price is just $21,999. If you convert that price to GBP and then take off the UK EV grant of £1500 you end up with a projected price of just under £14,500. That’s getting on for half the £28,750 of the Harley-Davidson version.

£14,500 is fine - I'm baulking at much more. Also considered a Harley at £13,995. Test drove a nice Triumph at about £7,900 though.

Gloucester, I am really surprised how many Triumphs (not E-Bikes) are actually around in Berlin being the home of BMW. There is a Guy close to us that buys crashed BMW’s and Strips them and resells the Spares, appears to be a thriving business - Dave 😏
Might be of interest to you to pass the time of day :
