Well today was a Bad Day for one of our Dealers Dealerships in Berlin-Köpenicke. The Arson Guys got to work and set a few vehicles on fire which does happen a lot here, but normally on street cars and not Dealership Cars. At least 20 Cars were destroyed, 7 totaled, 13 badly damaged but all look like total Scrap. At least 3 E-Cars were involved and these caused problems for the Fire Service cooling the Akkus. An Police / LKA investigation is now in place for Arson. A Big Dealer Loss although hopefully covered by Insurance, but never the less inconvenient and guaranteed a few customers Cars are also involved - Dave

Terrible loss for this dealer, even if covered by insurance and more so if customer cars are involved (very likely!?).

The Cars that are on fire are nearly always deemed to be by Police the act of arson and intentional. Authorities suspect that a political motives can normally lay behind the arson, although no solid evidence is ever found. There are a lot of very expensive cars in Berlin where the Arson could be put down to envy. There are many problems in Berlin where the Left-wingers squat and take over empty buildings and occupy them before developement hence the problems with the Police and the acts of Arson.
