There have been comments recently regarding the Nismo Logo’s and I thought this piece of History might be of some interest - Dave
Evolution of the Sun : https://europe.nissanstories.com/en/rel ... of-the-sun
“This is what gave birth to Nissan’s first brand logo in 1933. Inherited from the Datsun design, it utilised the same style of emblem motif, featuring a blue rectangle with the brand name inscribed in white letters, together with a red circle in the background which symbolised “a rising sun”.”
“For Nissan’s 2020 brand logo is an evolution, rather than an entirely new incarnation. It speaks to an ongoing journey Nissan is making towards a zero-emissions world through Nissan Intelligent Mobility, while retaining its spirit of innovation and heritage.”

Very interesting!
Shortest logo design 1 year (1988 - 1989).
Longest logo design 23 years (1933 - 1956).
New logo once every 7.25 years on average.
Worst logo design in my opinion (1967)
