I just had this warning today and it was followed by the Auto on and off having a fault. Once home, I left it parked for 10 mins then restarted again and the warning was gone and the auto on and off system was back working.
I asked one my friends and he had a look under the hood to check the battery and he said it's not a start/stop battery which might have caused the issue. Since I brought my car second hand from a dealer I'm not sure if the battery is the factory one or its been changed, could someone confirm from the photo if its a production battery or it's been replaced.
Thanks

J12 BATTERY MANAGEMENT WARNING
That battery is the factory one and as the label states it's an EFB battery so it's a start/stop one. Although I recommend everyone to switch to better AGM ones that are more robust and have a superior chemistry for start/stop systems.John903 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2024 2:56 pm I just had this warning today and it was followed by the Auto on and off having a fault.
