Has anyone had the experience of using Rain X on heated glass? I assume it's been tested before being let loose on the market and all is satisfactory but just wondered if anyone could shed any light?
Really?

Its fine I have used it on heated windscreens before. Looking forward to applying it to the glass roof on the tekna, it should keep our Grandson occupied!

Pampers (other nappies are available) are good buffing pads!

Thanks jokester46. I'll order some. I'll give the pampers a miss though, otherwise the wife will want to know who the other woman is ...

Have to say after this "sand storm" thing I wish I had done something like RainX when the car arrived. It's filthy now.

I wouldn't use RainX. It doesn't work, smears badly and is very difficult to remove . If you are determined, I'd advise you to use it on a small area first.

Never had a problem. Applied to clean, dry and cool glass using a small sponge applicator left for 10 mins and polished off using a glass cloth. Repeat application and its lasted all winter on my Juke. And what alot of rain we had! Meths is good to clean windscreen before application plus it smells nice!
