ESP warning light- help!

Hi

I have a 2011 plate and the ESP light and the ESP off light have come on today on two separate occasions after a 180 mile drive in wet conditions

The arrow to move up a gear etc doesn’t appear either and other than this the car drives ok and after arriving (on holiday!) the lights cleared and I drove as normal. The fault reappeared later again in wet conditions following a turn in to a junction.

Is this something that needs checking out ASAP? Am I ok to drive? Is it likely a dodgy sensor? I am miles away from home on holiday and anxious about getting home and not familiar with a garage in the area

Hi.

Wouldn’t be too worried at this stage. Seems to be a bad connection on one of the sensors. Is your abs light comes up as well? If it does that’s a broken sensor or cable

ABS light hasn’t come on
