...And I already have to take my QQ back to the dealership due to warning lights ( https://www.qashqaiforums.co.uk/viewto ... 19&t=10653) and I’ve curbed an alloy https://imgur.com/a/OXJG5k4.
I assume many of you have curbed an alloy before, are they easy to get fixed? Expensive?
I know QQ ownership will get better but it’s been an unlucky start!
Just over 48 hours of ownership...

Luckily I have never curbed an alloy.
My partner has done a few times. Luckily for her we have a great friend at the rugby club who’s in the motor trade locally. Curbed alloys, scuffed bumpers and etc. right up to a smashed in tailgate on my old RAV4 (uninsured driver with fake number plates) he had the contacts for a good quality, good value repair.
I realise that is absolutely useless information for you but it’s a pointer in that you might try friends local to where you live or even a local (yuck) Facebook page

I was advised when I bought mine that the optional "Alloy Wheel Protection Guarantee" wasn't available for my car owing to the type of alloy - the diamond-cut alloys can't be satisfactorily repaired and can only thus be replaced.
A quick Google shows that some companies DO cover them but replacement is limited to a £150 contribution - e.g. https://www.motoreasy.com/insurance/alloy
And other companies don't - e.g. https://www.evanshalshaw.com/finance/in ... age-cover/ doesn't cover "Wheels that are of chrome finish, polished finish or split rim construction."
But some do include refurbishment - e.g. https://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/al ... rbishment/

YYY, unfortunately “Diamond Cut Alloys” are very nice looking until they are “Kerbed” and this is when the fun starts. Some wheels can be machined with a NC Machine that follows the profile but only minimal metal can be removed. Fine welding can also be done and then re-machined but it all costs.
You should use the Camera’s when parking if you hit the “Camera” button this will give you an enlargement of the wheel and Kerb. You could attempt to clean this up but it won’t look brilliant, Fine Hand Files / Wet & Dry Paper Fine & Coarse to get the roughness away and then touch the damage up with paint or just spray over with a Clear Coat. It is important to “Seal” it to stop wetness and moisture getting into the wheel as “White Worm” will set in. To buy a New Nissan Wheel is expensive or you should look on the web for a 2nd Hand one.
Take a look at these old posts which might help or go into “Search” as this point has been covered before :

You may have to send them off, but there are specialist alloy diamond wheel refurbishers around, http://jpalloys.co.uk/ and http://www.lepsons.com/ first one is in Staffordshire and the second in Kent.
Past cars Mercedes B Class, S Class, E Class Estate, E Class Coupe, G Wagen, 260E interspersed with Peugeot 406 and Audi Coupe.

Thanks for the help, I'll look into them once I move. I live on a small terraced street and can only park outside my house. I don't want to fix the wheels now, just to damage them again as I'll not be moving for several years.
I took my QQ into the dealership yesterday and they gave me a courtesy vehicle and repaired the fault parts. The receipt says they fitted a new lane camera and tested it. It was free and took 1 day.
