Hi all I’m fairly new here but would like to tell you about the installation of my Belsee android head unit into my 2018 Tekna “yes it can be done” folks and everything works except navigation on the mini display which is no biggy to me to be honest. The 360 camera is working along with the Bose amplifier all good in the hood so far I will try and list the bits you need to complete as there is an alteration to the harness supplied with the head unit which needs carried out.

1st is the head unit ... -2017.html

2nd an active splitter ... s/3939.jpg

3 various fakra connections I may miss one so bare with me

Eightwood Auto Radio Antenna Adapter

1 x female fakra either end for dab
1x male din to female fakra
1x dab aerial cable with male fakra connection and either sma or SMb end depending on dab module connection.
1x dab module

You will need to make an alteration which means a small bit of cutting and joining this is to make the Bose amp work. You will need to take one of the male pins from the x trail connector and cut the other end from the harness. The pin then must be put into PIN number 1 on the power connector and the end of the wire spliced into the harnesses positive connection or 12v power source on the accessories side. I used a donated android harness for my own but all works perfect now.

I am having a little difficulty with the usb connector as the unit ejects the usb drive which will mean getting into the settings to put the unit in usb debugging mode but that’s going to be a little later. Here are a couple of pics of my unit in situ.
