Most probably headroom in Tekna plus is less because of the bose system. Subwoofer in the trunc is not present in other trims.

Only by chance, I was watching another YouTube video from AutoTrader. The presenter is 5’11” and he said he didn’t have much space above his head - only about 3” spare (3 mins 50 secs in).

I have looked at the Nissan website and found some measurements for when the rear seats are lowered to the roof. As you will see, there is less space on the Tekna+ compared with the Tekna and Premiere models. Maybe this has something to do with the multi-link suspension on the Tekna+ as opposed to the MacPherson strut set-up? Or the BOSE system? 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️

I'd have though the headroom issue particularly in the front as the video is not trim level dependant, merely whether the panoramic roof is fitted or not?

Another factor may be whether the motorised seats go down as far as the purely mechanical ones?

Other sources give the boot capacity as being smaller for the 4WD models - so my theory is that there are two body shells, the ordinary one with the torsion beam suspension and the multilink one which is for the 4WD model and thus has to accommodate the rear differential - but which is also being used for some of the 2WD models to get the "improved" suspension?

Note that a figure of 504 litres is also quoted in places for the boot capacity.

Here's the Belgian brochure for example:

... and just to confuse matters the Finnish brochure gives different capacities depending on the transmission:

This is my thinking @gloucester. I will have to try a Tekna model, when they have one in my local showroom, to make sure I have enough head room!

Very doubtful if NISSAN can actually produce a new proper car.

On my car, the engine throttles and chokes, and the body has design problems and wind comes in through the door seals, the seats have annoying driving noises because of used up pieces (although bought as new car!) . After only 5 000 miles the brake disks began to squeak, even if the car had only been driven quietly in the city. Worse, the car service that made the investigations marked the causes as internal faults but, despite faults in materials, NISSAN refused to change the non-compliant parts, even if the car is under warranty. Absolutely hilarious that the manufacturer bothers about "chrome door handles" but supplies a new car with parts with internal defects, which it then refuses to change. And yes, UK manufactured, not produced in other countries

Welcome to this forum.

I'd have to admit dealing with the Nissan dealer was one of the worse experiences of a car dealer I've had - though BMW comes close.

"Worse, the car service that made the investigations marked the causes as internal faults "
Sorry for me to ask, but did you buy a truly new car and from an official Nissan dealer ?
Just curious because I would assume that "after only 5000 miles" any respectful car dealer would take care of these issues asap !
Anyway, I guess I would demand they take the car back.
[I am new to these Nissans in fact, but did not yet read about these kind of problems and dealers not willing to deal with it under full warranty !?].

Not sure if it has been mentioned before (this is quite a long thread now) but the fuel filler flap no longer has a screw cap inside (about 5 minutes in on the YouTube video for further clarification):
