ESP & SLIP and handbrake lights

I have a Qashqai 2008 1.5 dci, manual, K9K.
Three warning lights came on constantly while I was driving to work today. The lights are ESP & SLIP and handbrake lights
What is the possible cause? I have not noticed any change in the way the car drives.

I added brake fluid, and the problem was solved.
