If you have a tow bar, have you considered towing a trailer rather than load up the car.

^^ Occasionally get a message come up on screen which I can either press 'later' or 'dismiss' Will need to look on the bay for a newer version

^^ No, when the van was detached and I had to reverse, the sensors still went nuts because of the tow bar. I must say though, I did not have the dedicated electrics for the car, that was another £60 from memory.

I tow with a QQ 1.6 diesel and have a detachable tow bar. When it's connected to the car, the rear sensors go potty when I have to reverse on site. It tows my 1300kg van with ease.

Not sure how it can skip gears, there's only one in there unless you count reverse :D I have been driving CVT gearboxes fro well over 10 years and have had no issue and I am currently driving a 1.6 cvt QQ J11. Smooth as can be. Unfortunately, it is the failures that get posted most, people like me, ...

I think it was Toyota who are going to manufacture only electric or hybrids. I've seen the ad but can't recall the year, 2025 rings a bell, but could and most probably am wrong

Mercedes call it a star machine, depending on car manufacture they have different names. It not only diagnoses faults and can also reprogram to make things work to the various international settings.

Interesting, I have a 2014 auto with CVT box and my handbrake applies automatically when I push the engine off button, with or without my seatbelt on. All the warning buzzers go off, but I can move the car without the seatbelt on
