Re: Reinstall TPMS on Nissan Qashqai 2014

Is there an error tell tale light (symbol) showing on the speedo/tacho displays? If there is it could be that a DTC code has been raised internally and may need to be cancelled or investigated anyway. What exact tool can detect that I don't know..its a gamble with many junk tools on sale out there. ...

Re: A rookie question... Is the engine supposed to start at higher revs?

From what I remember of Lamda sensors (O2) the injection engine is run at initial high revs with a relatively rich fuel mix....say 10 mins at about 1200 or so rpm. That enables the engine exhaust to warm the O2 sensor(s) to eventually sense all further exhaust emissions in the right sensor temperatu...

Re: ABS Sensor damage - Chewed through twice in 6 weeks - Advice needed

That was my initial though calnorth, surely the easy way around this is to protect the cable in some form of armoured pipe. I've attached some photos to my original post now if you want to see for yourself. Is that a fluid line...so you had brake fluid on the deck? Iv'e not looked at the QQ braking...

Re: ABS Sensor damage - Chewed through twice in 6 weeks - Advice needed

Is weird...that cable is part of the braking safety system and should be thoroughly protected either in a pipe or armoured sheath. Certainly should not be hanging down.

I have a flat down Footscray Rd and have been watching that dealer build there...was wondering.

Re: Engine stop

Is the engine stalling? By that I mean is the a/c compressor clutch engaging and jamming the engine. A bit weird I'd say because I think the aircon belt would screech somewhat. You need to lift the bonnet and observe the compressor operation. Should see the clutch operate and see if the compressor c...

Re: J11 Battery charging system problem

That cheapo battery doesn't stack up with the need for a special Start/Stop modern car need...does it? So I wonder what the battery monitoring system does when its told this is not a battery to expect (maybe?).

The difference is about +£120 or so.
