I’m just going on what I was once told and that was the reasoning behind it. It could easily fail even if it was programmed to disengage following airbag deployment..

It’s to do with a safety function because if you have an RTC and the locks do not disengage, it will cause you problems in exiting the vehicle.

Mine has gone up now I’ve reached over the 1000 miles on the clock.

On longer runs I can get around 49mpg. It’s still nowhere near what I have been used to with the previous qashqai but I suppose I’ll just have to get used to that now.

Those who have taken delivery on their QQ, have you taken out GAP insurance?

I have been offered it from a company through Nissan Finance at £460 for 4 years and not sure wether to get it or if they’d offer it any lower

My n connecta came with Bridgestones. My previous QQ I kept continentals on them throughout ownership but I can’t say I notice a difference lol! Kind of wish I had took tyre and allot cover out as I do like having that peace of mind. Also, has anyone taken out GAP on theirs? A company keeps calling ...

Maybe I am just not used to using so much fuel coming from a diesel. I rarely have air con on but, my last qashqai I was told you need to keep using it at least once a month as otherwise it faults it. I still need to take it in at some point to get checked but today I was reversing on to the drive and my camera never came on and even pressing the button it did not show up seems maybe another fault on top of the battery issue

I’ve found the MPG to average at 38 for me around town and 41 on the motorway. I’ve gone through loads of fuel so I aren’t sure if my driving style is differed to when I had the J11 in diesel. Either way, it’s costing a fortune. I’ve had it 2 weeks and done 450 miles to £100. Just put 40 in it today...

Yeah, they just said it would be pointless them coming out and advised to just drive it to the dealer rather than ringing them so they don’t try and fob me off 😂 I’ve just started it again and the lights have gone off. I believe I got RAC cover with the warranty so I will call them.
