I would say wheel bearings, the J10 is notorious for eating front wheel bearings.

At the moment the J11B would have been out of my price range. Maybe in the future, I may get one, when prices drop.

As above the boot light would stay on if the rear door or front doors are opened. It does not go off until closed or alarm is on. Check the door switch, you can disconnect the wire from it for a temporary fix until you get another switch.
