Re: Help Please - P0136 O2 Sensor location

Thanks Calnorth. I cleared the errors manually last week but the came back unfortunately. I figure i either bought a duff part or am replacing the wrong sensor entirely Often the sellers on the web (not eBay) will tell you the sensor type needed...if you contact them. And there should be two... bef...

Re: Help Please - P0136 O2 Sensor location

If the original sensor is in tact have you tried putting it back to see if the NEW DTCs disappear? Try clearing them.

When I changed an O2 (lamda) sensor on a BMW 2ltr a few years back I had to take the car out for a "learning" lesson. Not saying that happens with your QQ.

Re: After Market Double DIN Unit - OctaCore Android

I brought my PX5 unit from AliExpress, didn't have to pay any import tax, guess I got lucky. Ps. Anyone know the correct canbus setting I should be using for a J11b? I have got reverse cam working but front camera doesn't work Yes ace86, I suspect the cost was marked well down on the package? Parce...

Re: After Market Double DIN Unit - OctaCore Android

I suspect I might have to do this swap out at some time? Think I have a Connecta 3/67plate Facelift. Well I think its Connecta 3..just nowhere in the cars docs or reliably elsewhere specifys that. No As Built info. I'd likely go for the AliExpress punt after reading the listings and contacting the s...

Re: After Market Double DIN Unit - OctaCore Android

I use AlieExpress a lot as well but limit is £30. And I use Paypal enrolled sellers only. Not handing out credit card numbers...email address is bad enough. Amazes me sometimes how fast they get stuff shipped in on free shipping...10 to 14 days as opposed to a month. HMRC (Customs) can be a big prob...

Re: WD40

The thing with wd40 is it’s not a releasing spray like say plusgas which my dad as an aircraft engineer for hawker siddley swore by as do I and I’ve tried wd40 on blurry headlamps and initially looks to do the trick but I believe all it does is fill in the “defects” on the lense giving the appearan...

Re: QashQai 67 Reg - Hi Beam Headlamp Halogen Bulb Type Error

Mines an OM17EN blah blah Pandjh. Being a Facelift I guess they didn't get time to print the 67 Facelift stuff thrown on? Just wish they'd have part of their website dedicated As Built which would come off the Production Line. Maybe they do but is not for Public/Owner use. Ford do that by VIN so you...

Clarion purchased by Faurecia (France) 2019

Exactly what impact this will have on legacy problems with Clarion ICE, I wonder...not a lot I'd say. New systems look to be Android tablets really with Parrot in the manufacturing. Old Clarion stuff will likely need to be trashed and replaced with the Android systems we see on AlieExpress etc. Out ...

Re: WD40

I've spent about 50 yrs using WD40 and I think I found its origin in a green 1 gallon can (NATO numbered) of something similar...in the RAF about 1969. The other end of the WD 40 scale is as below..Ed China on Wheeler Dealers. He often uses WD40 on less energetic projects. Its on his workbench at ab...
