Control module replaced. Green light back in action. All sorted.

e-POWER technology explained by Nissan UK:

The dealership phoned me today to say the control module has arrived, which seems very quick in this day and age. Booked an appointment for early October when I’m free to take it in to have the part fitted.

Grey is the way! Looking good. It even features the new NASSIN logo on the steering wheel

Just collected my Qashqai. Tyres have 8mm of tread all round.

Service (minor) would have cost £229 but I paid for 3 years upfront.

They need to order a Telemetric Control Module to fix the SOS fault, so that might take a few weeks to arrive and an hour to fit.

I always default to Sports Mode for some strange reason

I managed to beat the previous best MPG by 10 in this petrol Juke courtesy car

My Qashqai is having its first service today (minor service).

The only problem I have asked them to look at is the SOS light in the roof lining - it is constantly lit red, whilst driving, instead of green. It only started to do this in the past few months.

Just dropped my Qashqai off for its first service and they had an Ariya outside for demonstration purposes. Pity it wasn’t my courtesy car for the day (got a ‘20’ plate Juke).
