Re: Tyre Pressure Sensor Issue?

Hi I had a similar occurrence as this a while ago. The amber warning light on and showing no reading for a front tyre. It lasted a few days, I kept checking the tyre, but it was okay. I guessed I would need a new TPMS fitted, but after a few days the amber light went out and the tyre pressure readin...

Re: TPMS query

Hi Steve Bloody dealerships always after making a quick buck! When I took mine for a service last year, I told them that one of the key fobs wasn't working properly, so could they stick a new battery in it. They wanted to charge me £20 for a new key fob battery!! I told them to poke it, and bought o...

Re: TPMS query

Hi Steve No it is fine to swap wheels/tyres over. I rotate mine every 6000 miles and it does not upset the TPMS system. If you go into the vehicle settings when you have swapped them round, just click on re calibrate and it sets them. Very occasionally you might have to do this a couple of times, bu...

Re: Start Stop System Failure

My start/stop system failure was down to a faulty battery. This also caused my speed limiter and cruise control to not work. Had a new battery fitted last year under warranty and it cured the problem.

Re: Exhaust / Tail pipe

Have a look on Ali Express for the above one's that you have found on Amazon. You will probably find that they are a bit cheaper via good old Ali Express.

Re: 12v sockets

Hi

My dashcam is plugged into the armrest socket, which deactivates a minute or so after closing and locking the door. The socket at the front of the car is always live.

Cheers

Re: Mirror Indicator Replacement

Hi It appears you have ordered the replacement that is not plug n play so to speak. Other folk that have ordered this type have had to cut the wiring and then solder the wires together, not altogether an easy job. I ordered some plug n play ones from Ali Express a while ago, and they were a straight...

Re: Auto door lock?

I just press the door lock button after start up. I also disable the start/stop system. Been doing this for so long now, I just do it automatically.

Re: Should I be afraid?

Hi I can only speak from personal experience, but have owned a Qq Tekna 1.6 with a cvt box since 2015. The car has now covered 35000 miles and I have never experienced any problems with the cvt gearbox (hope I've not tempted fate there!) I have had a few parts that have failed (battery, oxygen senso...
