I've done about 500 miles in mine since 1st April and I haven’t noticed this problem.
I don’t like it but it works as Nissan seems to have desired

My 2017 diesel QQ topped out at about 68mpg - but that was using the brim-to-brim method rather than the car’s computer.

Just received my third Qashqai.
Did approximately 59,000 miles in the first two, from new.
Neither required any regassing.
That said I almost never turn the aircon off, keeps seals, etc. "wet" and they remain effective.

Get the aircon radiator checked for leaks when you get the work done
