Re: Air trapped in petrol tank
In my humble opinion this is air rushing into the tank.
Assuming you fill the tank completely and screw the cap on tight, you might find no air can gradually "leak" into the tank.

Re: Nissan to quit Diesel Sales in Europe
I'm on my second 1.5dci car, the fist was a Juke (not quite enough passenger space) On three days per week I commute to Keele University from Stockport. Motorway there (99% of the time trouble free despite the reputation of the M6 road works in Cheshire) and the on-board computer tells me the that t...

Re: New Nissan Micra
My (64 year old) "girlfriend" has the new Micra in the Tekna trim.
She loves it, however, I’ve never driven it so can’t comment on how it feels behind the wheel.
Comfortable as a passenger though
Hope that helps

Re: 1.2 DIG-T - Oil loss
Sorry for your misfortune but I educated my daughter to check oil (and coolant and tyre pressures) at appropriate intervals when she started taking driving lessons and she still does those checks 14 years later

Re: Which engine to buy - emissions?
No real world comments w.r.t. emissions but I would suggest doing research on here (and the various Juke forums) about the 1.2 turbo engine BEFORE committing.
Not entirely sure I will get another QQ, I might be swayed by a hybrid from Toyota or Mitsubishi next time round.

For clarity, what is the meaning of your TMO acronym ? Presumably something to do with Trading Standards.

Re: 4WD Display
I've just returned from Colorado and whilst there hired an X-Trail (badged Rogue).
The 4-wheel drive display on that car was shown by scrolling through the display on the centre of the dash by using the arrow keys on the steering wheel.
Don’t know whether that helps
