Probably worth getting into a dealer to "open a case" just in case it is faulty.
Leaving it a few weeks and not being able to get to the dealer until after warranty expires would be unfortunate

Welcome to the forum. I can’t help other than to note that (as you have noticed) there are a number of threads on here covering this topic. Nissan don’t seem to be especially helpful in making upgrading jobs like this straightforward - I guess they want to to buy the car with the better trim, etc. H...

I would expect any change to be really complicated (just like trying to change the system in a J11a to that of a J11b)

Sorry to disagree, dim DLR would be less useful than either full DLR or headlights.

On my n-connecta (2017) and Tekna (2019) it seemed to be headlights on or headlights off It happened in an instant and (I assume) didn’t pause to go via a "sidelights only" setting, if the computer settings on the car think it’s time for headlights, I guess it’s a straightforward binary on...

Beat me to it, I put remoulds on my 1963 Beetle when I bought it in 1973, all I could afford in my budget. The £30 I paid for the car, seems like a bargain now - I just wish I still had it !!
