No...the days of carb linkages are nearly gone. Analogue days
Digital days now, you'll need an assistant on the accelerator pedal.

Re: J11 Battery charging system problem
Each morning after the car has been sat on drive all night the Connect system is showing about 12.5v with the engine turned off, is this a healthy reading or should it be higher? Also, can anyone tell me if the new Varta batteries on the 2019 cars are of the AGM variety? then I know what setting to...

Re: Throttle input change
If you use the digital foot approach you'll find out exactly what the engine does through the gears. Digital foot being full on and full off (1, 0).

Re: Throttle input change
What I see of that is a modification to build and performance...not what the manufacturer approved I suspect.
Give them a chance and they'll cut you off?

For Info: Advancements in Automotive Antennas
The pdf attached below is about Vehicle Antennas (Aerials). It covers brief history and original antenna theory...not deeply/no maths. The antenna range is from VLF (Long Wave) thru to Collision Avoidance Radars. 200 Khz to 77 Ghz. A table (Table 1) is presented showing each radio/radar service with...

Re: Clutch wear
At 14k miles that would take some deliberate doing? And the replacement price is seriously OTT I'd say.

Re: Driver side seatbelt
Mine was the same on pick up (2017 model - nearly new). Pull the whole belt out and unfankle it.
There is someone in the dealership chain who is screwing these belts up. Somewhere between W. London and Brum?

Re: Cracked Windscreen Again!!!
Seem to remember its two lumps of shaped glass (heat treated) and a plastic sheet pressed between them. However, the stones (mini missiles) could have a point impact at about 70mph or perhaps more. Its going to splinter the surface easily. You also wonder what happens in production to such items...i...

Re: Spate of thefts from Qashqais
Its a near 20 year old story Dave...Code Grabbing. Seem to remember it was about War Driving or Road Warriors by the City dwelling dogs. They'd hang around busy car parking places/motorway flyovers grabbing simple key codes and likely recording the number plate with it...or worse, follow the car. So...

Re: Weak Windscreen?
No cameras Dave...just the constant raging sun, high humidity. The Aircon was called just that (not climate bollox) and no heaters fitted. Thats raw cold...no frills. Windows always shut. Glass not busting on wide temp differential across screen. I used to bounce a Chevrolet Impala along a deeply ru...
