Leaving the Forum
I am leaving this forum as soon as I can change my car. My particular QQ must be the worst car I have ever owned and I also have no respect for Nissan as a company. Some of you may recall my blown turbo last year at 50k miles, no help from Nissan whatsoever. Now I have had a throttle body failure an...

Re: Engine stopped
Further update, car stopped again and all indications are the throttle body is shot. When the engine warms up the butterfly closes and stops all air flow, engine dies. Only fault is related to closed butterfly. This was confirmed by both the AA and my local garage. I phoned Nissan to ask if they cou...

Re: Suspension Arm
Thanks Andy. What is tracking? I have a mobile care mechanic who is going to fit the new suspension arms. Do you think he will be able to get the tracking done? No, you will need to take the car to a specialist tyre shop who will have the equipment to check tracking as well as castor and camber ang...

Engine stopped
Drove my car to the local post office today, my wife went into the post office and I turned off the engine. A few minutes later, saw her coming out of the post office, started the car which ran for about 3 seconds and then died. On trying to start the car it would start but will not tick over. The c...

Re: Towing with 1.5dci
I think you may have to purchase a small 2 berth van to keep within the towing limits of the car. I drive a 1.6 diesel and towed my 1300kg van with ease, but I know the older 1.5's could not legally tow my van. I think you would be looking at maximum 1200kg caravan for your car, but do check in your...
