I'm with Miranda on this one, I saw a red car symbol flashing on the dial cluster and when I checked the manual it said "NATS" - Nissan Anti Theft System, whether it flashes when the cars locked up I'm not completely sure.

Mine had 5 miles on the clock .When I was a mechanic the maximum road test distance you could drive was 10 miles.. and this was for fault finding so for a basic test to check brakes, lights etc 4 - 5 miles should be ample.

Well I think I can confuse everyone now..... I have a 1.6dci and it does have a Pure Drive badge I thought it was on the others and not the 1.6dci because of emission levels, but obviously not. I've also just checked the Nissan website and it states the 1.2 is 129kg/km, is that right?

I'm on day two (well not really, only had it 24hrs, but you know what I mean!) and this morning the engine was looser and happy to rev unto 3.5 - 4K but yesterday you could feel it "tighten" at about 3K.I agree with Kram, and Donkey, move it through the rev range, just don't make it scream...
