Re: Heater Blower Resistor failing?
I feel the same. I've had a rear parking camera go (replaced under warranty), battery fail (should have been a recall but I was never told, replaced under warranty), a "grinding noise" from the gearbox found at service that they then claimed couldn't be found when Nissan head office agreed...

Re: Heater Blower Resistor failing?
Everything I've read in here indicates it MAY be the resistor failing,.just looking for some informed confirmation or rebuttal I guess. Seems the hardest part about fixing it is getting one. No one seems to have any, except maybe Nissan who'll probably want £100 for it plus £150 to change it knowing...

Heater Blower Resistor failing?
Last night my heater blower wouldn't work. Well, it did for 2 seconds then defaulted to speed 1. Today it was working fine (although 'pulsing' fast, slower, fast, slower) until I turned it down then it was back to defaulting to speed 1. Is this the resistor/transistor failing? I get the impression t...

Re: Another Rattle Thread (sorry) - Boot area?
I'm back. Had a few family issues to take care of. The rattle is still there annoyingly. I'm not 100% sure but from tapping / banging on the hatch area it seems it could be coming from the driver side rear light cluster (the part in the hatch not the part on the main body). How the hell do you get a...

Re: Forward Emergency Brake Light / Collision Avoidance
I was just basing it on the videos on YouTube of the Euro NCAP testing where it didn't appear to be really harsh on its stopping, especially if the starting speed is over about 30mph. I know the reason why, and fully accept it, but I do find it funny that the one time you might need these systems - ...

Re: Current maps version?
Not saying I won't buy from here cheaper. I was just wondering if there was a way that someone who may not know these forums exist could look at their map data, compare it with what's for sale and go "ah, yeah, my maps are out of date". As far as I can tell that is not easy to do. As it s...

Re: Current maps version?
Black Rojer lists the sd2-GENJ_EU_D.A v1 card as being from Q1 2016, not 2014, in the linked thread. I have sd2-GENJ_EU_B.a v11, which I believe is from 2014. (The car was new in July 2015 and came with a 2013 card!) LOL. See what I mean? How confusing if you don't know this place exists  :lol...

Re: Another Rattle Thread (sorry) - Boot area?
I'll have a look at that. Sounds a little too 'tinny' for it to be something as large as a buckle but I'm not going to discount it without trying it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Re: Forward Emergency Brake Light / Collision Avoidance
I've not had need for the one on my car yet, but I do have a similar system fitted to the trucks I drive. I have to say that on those these systems are superb and have almost brought me - travelling at 56mph and about 30 tons - to a dead stop safely and without issue on occasions when I've been unlu...
