Yes. Passenger side front underneath. Also were some smokey pools of coolant in engine. The part in question is on right side looking from inside the car My 2019 has the thermostat on the left side of the engine when looking from inside the car, indeed on the passenger side. Near the battery.

These units are a bit hit and miss. Dealers want 1000s to replace. Try Sinosmart as a replacement.

afaik there are no on screen icons related to parking sensors. your post though is about volume, is the volume not changing when you amend the volume options in the menus?

Surely it's Parking Aids > Volume - 3 different options in there.
My Tekna is bog standard, so I assume they all have these sensors for beeping? They only do so in 1st and reverse gears though.

it should be in the menu/settings in the dashboard display, accessed via the controls on the steering wheel.

they're small and circular and easily seen on the rear bumper - if u have them
