Seems as if this issue is getting a little more coverage now….take a look at this link. Cannot believe Nissan won’t acknowledge this is a common fault.

Did Nissan cover the cost of the repairs to your car? If so how much of a fight did you put up?

Can I ask, how many people on here have actually had personal experience of this fault happening? Would just like to gauge the proportion of cars to which this fault is affecting. We had this fault happen with our car, going through the process of diagnosis and dealing with Nissan customer service ...

Turns out there’s a Nissan Qashqai group on Facebook which I have now joined & put a warning out to other members re my problem. I encountered a couple of rude comments but on the whole people were very supportive & have found more with the same fault we have all had, including from Europe....

Come across this forum after our thermostat housing failed without warning while partner was driving our 2019 Quahqui. We been told by a few in the trade there’s a good chance the engine has been cooked. We had the thermostat housing changed at a local garage for £250 so we could see if more damage ...
