Thanks folks - experienced this today, after a period of driving in heavy rain. Sensor on FOS activated whenever we were at slow speed or stationary, driving us literally round the bend!! After reading these posts, I checked it was clean, which it was but thereafter dried it with a micro fibre cloth...
