We have an answer. Clutch switch apparently came unplugged. Must have multiple ways of detecting the clutch is down because it needs to be to start the car! Fortunately fixed same day by the dealer. Hoping this is the end of my problems!

Took delivery of a 158 Tekna manual the week before Christmas. Got into it in the middle of January to be greeted with battery management fault, visit dealer on the dash and no stopstart (presumably disabled as a precaution) at 1100 miles. I've just had this crop up on mine this morning. At a month old and 1100 miles to say I'm annoyed would be the understatement of the century. Can't get into dealer until the 1st.

The same as reported, Conti EcoContact 6. Be interested to see how they hold up - My old one came with Dunlop Sport Maxx and they lasted 33k on the front and were still on the originals on the rear when I traded it in earlier at 48k!

I'm expecting my dealer to renegotiate on my trade in price, they certainly intended to do so on my folks Juke when they're better and can collect their N-Connecta. A quick check of Webuyanycar says mine's gone up at least £1500 since I ordered, and that's taking into account the additional mileage.

Given the above news, I'm seriously thinking about cancelling my Tekna order and looking for an alternative vehicle (or maybe even keeping my J11!). My folks N-Connecta auto has allegedly arrived at the dealer today, although unfortunately due to them currently having Covid they're unable to collect...
