Re: Stop / Start Fault P1656
Hi Calnorth, Despite clearing the codes my dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree and showed all the ABS, Traction control, power steering and dashboard lights fading and indicators sometimes coming on sometimes not. This is exactly the same thing that happened when it went into Nissan. However, Nis...

Re: Stop / Start Fault P1656
Cleared fault, no error message anymore but after a quick drive stop start won't kick in leading me to believe the battery is on its way out.

Stop / Start Fault P1656
Hi All, Another day, another problem it seems  I replaced a faulty glow plug a few weeks back and finally got stop start working again, it came up with a fault again when it started the car up again so expected another glow plug. When I got home I checked the resistance of each glow plug and al...

Re: Stop / Start Not Available?
It was the seat belt, I literally didn't realise but most the time I come to a stop with handbrake up and in neutral that's usually when I'm at the end of a journey and I whip my seat belt off quick and as stop start just about kicks in it then displays "Stop / Start Not Available" and of ...

Re: J10 Christmas Tree Dashboard
Strangely enough, the master tech tested the exhaust pressure sensor off the car and said it was faulty. While all the errors did match a faulty exhaust pressure sensor, what threw me off was the dying, fading out dash lights. I'm quite skeptical to be honest, but it's been replaced so will see how ...

Re: J10 1.6d R9M Timing Cover and Sump
I'm way down in West Wales, not sure on price as it varys so much depending on hourly rates, your talking around 6 hours to do it so if your talking dealer prices its 540 plus vat just for labour and then there's parts on top of that ..... Hi Peeps, I never had any notifications for the replies on ...

Re: Stop / Start Not Available?
Thanks very much for the reply, I got the car back today from Nissan after the "Christmas Tree dashboard" thread I created. They removed and tested the Exhaust pressure sensor and found that to be faulty, don't get me wrong I would have assumed that was the issue as I'm aware that it can c...

Re: Middle row middle seat
Next to the seat belt buckle there's a short Nylon strap, it's that which allows the seat to fold.

Re: Stop / Start Not Available?
Thoughts: Stop/Start is disabled if the AC is running under normal operation. Perhaps you might get the A/C working right and try again. Its possible at present the A/C sensor is passing the wrong message to the ECU? And I'm not sure what might happen if that sensor is disconnected or faulty-ish? P...

J10 Christmas Tree Dashboard
Hi Peeps, Fix a few issues and then another has to crop up  So I was driving down the road and I couldn't help but notice when I pressed the clutch and came off the throttle that it seemed a little "snappy?" so I was thinking.. Surely that's not normal. I then turn the corner and good...
