Re: Stop/start not working after battery change
Any other warning lights? Does your engine start and run normally using the ignition? I have a hunch it has something to do with the start-battery or a sensor. Did you try replacing the (new) battery with another one (the old one f.e.)? What was the reason for changing the battery?

Re: Radio Locked
It seems the radio has a security code that has to be entered after you disconnect the radio, to avoid stealing. A quick google points out that the security code could possibly be found in the owners manual or in the glove compartment: https://instant-radio-code.com/nissan-q ... nlock-code

Re: J12 2021 Nissan does not have a good engine !
I would take it with a grain of salt. We all have been influenced by very subjective "opiniated" reviews on the interwebs, but in the end it's important that you let your own feeling and experience decide. To compensate, this well known experienced Dutch car reviewer is rather positive abo...

A translated version of the ADAC page, including the funny video (they use a stock wifi router as the amplification device LOL) https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&tl=en&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.adac.de%2Frund-ums-fahrzeug%2Fausstattung-technik-zubehoer%2Fassistenzsysteme%2Fkey...

Re: Calling 1.2 Petrol Owners
great info @DaveBerlin! To my cynical mind, the main reason for "upgrading" the engine probably has to do with the inherit design-mistakes in the 1.2 petrol engine. Of course, the 1.3 engine seems to be much improved (it's used in the Mercedes A-series if i'm not mistaken?).

Re: Intelligent Key - Nissan
Am I reading this correctly guys, as I have the button on the door handle disabled and have to physically press the buttons on the i-key to Lock / Unlock the doors, so by doing this is the car slightly more difficult to break into, as in said thieves can't remotely access the car by stealing the si...

Re: Intelligent Key - Nissan
Tnx for the info @Sandgrounder! It's surprising that Nissan is not more vocal about this option, as there is a lot of buzz around car-theft using electronic keys. The solution is easy, if explained and communicated clearly.

Re: Intelligent Key - Nissan
I suppose its possible to shut the key fob off with a redesign of the fob body. Akin to pulling its battery. you don't need to shut the fob off, you can disable the door "buttons" in the car settings, this way thieves cannot trigger the i-Key to give a signal from outside. The only caveat...

Re: Intelligent Key - Nissan
All manufacturers are experiencing the same issue where keyless is a feature It's mostly an issue if your car is parked in front of your house. I live in a city where we park the car where there is room, so car's move around and are not necessarily in front of your house (or in the driveway), where...
