Re: Actual mileage different from distance to empty

Our 2018 QQ recently had a spate of this? I could visibly watch the MTE dropping by one or two miles every hundred yards or so. My usual journey of around 18/20 miles on the A9 at around 70mph usually on dropped the DTE by around 10 or so miles, been pretty much the same since we purchased the car (...

Re: Propilot and wet weather.

I've noticed that during the winter months when the sun is low and bright our cars front collision and lane warning systems go offline, I'm guessing that the front facing camera/radar is overwhelmed by the sun?
Only happens occasionally and when driving with the sun pointing directly at the front?

Re: Painful noise from steering

Sounds like you've been through the mill with various parts needing replaced 😞
However, this time I think it's your anti roll bar bushes, not worn out (but worth checking) but just in need of lubrication.
Hopefully this will be your cheap, quick and easy fix.

Re: Timing Belt Changed and the Problems began

I agree with Andy, sounds like a failing battery.
I believe that 11.6 volts sounds a wee bit low.
Should ideally be over 12v with ignition off then rising to between 13 to 14v with the engine running.

Re: Cleaning leather dashboard

Hi Yannis, welcome to the Forum 👍 Personally I wouldn't worry too much, if the leather is indeed leather a quick wipe over with soapy water, don't drown it though. I usually wipe our cars "leather" with the micro fibre sponge after washing the car. Then rub a dry micro fibre towel over to ...

Re: Quotation laugh of the day 😂

I'm pretty handy with the oily bits, discs and pads all round will only take a few hours, maybe a few more if I tidy up/paint the calipers/carriers and rust proof the crusty suspension parts. I've looked around and I can get excellent brake parts for £170 (4 discs and pads) and the flush of the cool...
