Turbo to Intercooler OR Intercooler to turbo

Hi group Having a real stress with my 1.5DCi 2010 Qashqai Started getting limp mode at 70mph and fault codes point to a boost pressure issue. First diagnotic assessment, which was non conclusive, claimed the turbo was making boost but holding it and not releasing the pressure so limp mode. Have had ...

Re: Using REVIVE on a 1.5tdi

All sorted - it is number 2 on that photo

Revive spray used - and hopefully so far, the limp mode boost issue seems to be fixed (fingers crossed)

Re: Using REVIVE on a 1.5tdi

OK - so I'm confused - as to which part of the system is the inlet pipe?

Any off these right?

Re: Quirky Cruise Control puzzle

Thanks - it doesn't bother or affect me - was just curious if anyone else had noticed the same

Is it hard or advisable to update firmwares?

thx

Quirky Cruise Control puzzle

Not an issue, just interested - but I've noticed when using cruise control on my 2010 QQ there are cerain speeds that I just cannot get the cruise to set too. For example, I can have it set to 30mph, then by click up I can increment in 1mph stages, but say I just cannot get it to increment to 34mph ...

How to remove clip

Hi there

I'm getting a Boost Pressur engine warning code - I've checked the main culprit but that seems to be fine.

I cannot figure out how this clip releases from the intake pipe.

I've tried squeezing it - twising and pulling it - but can't get it to come off

Would anyone know?

Thx

Re: Reverse Gear - alarm / sensor fault

Hi - no it's all standard - it's had a tow bar fitted - but that was last year. Coincidentally it started after being jet washed, which may or may not be a factor

Re: Reverse Gear - alarm / sensor fault

It's your typical annoying electrical fault in that it's intermittent and a nightmare to trace the origin. At the moment it's stopped - I'm going to check later that it's not an over inflated "Bulb out" warning signal - then if it continues, I'll probably give Nissan a ring. One thing it d...
