Cesare, it might be worth taking a read of the old previous posts under “Search” regarding Door Locking unless already done. This was a subject in the early days and I believe there were changes from the EU, here are a couple of posts and the EU comment - might help you Dave

I am still confused even if you aren't.
The button on the door DOES unlock all the doors so people can get out. It is the same as other cars in this respect. But the child locks have to be off to make this work.
With all cars I've had (and I've never been in a Kuga never mind owned one), if the child locks are set you can't open the rear doors from the inside. It's a mechanical function of the door lock itself not an electrically assisted function. Hence cannot be overridden.
Sounds like yours might be faulty. Or you need to operate it without the child locks set.

I had this issue yesterday 11/11/2023 when I cleaned my car I must have accidentally put child lock on .I couldn't open rear door from inside or outside this went on for hours. So was going to go to my local dealer when I thought I would try the other door so put child lock on shut door and it opened straight away from the outside went around to the problem door and it opened straight away so before you go to garage give this a try .
