Sisters QQ 1.5d MY10 gives on avg 40+ city and motorway around 60mpg.

Don't one bit expect to see 74mpg on the new one on order for parents. Would be happy to see the 40+ as per sisters in fairness for city driving

Thanks for the calculations 54/55 per gallon from a new engine seems great might get slightly better when it has a few more miles on the clock!!

I've driven mainly around town so far or short journeys, only 2 trips over 20 miles.I'm getting 44.3 MPG as an average with a maximum on the games console high score of 61.8 MPG during a journey.Stop/Start by the way doesn't require the handbrake. You simply put the car in neutral, if it's manual, and release the clutch. As the Tekna has hill start no need to apply the handbrake. In the auto I'd assume you just press the brake..once the car is at a stand still the Stop/Start will kick in..once you release the brake the engine will start.

Well my stop/start has only kicked in once!.As for real MPG, most all of my driving is Urban with trips between 5 and 10miles. The Nissan Urban figure (official urban test is only 2.5 miles) says 67.3mpg, in reality I'm getting around 36 to 38mpg. In comparison my previous Honda CRV with the 2.2 diesel was
quoted at 34.9 and used to get 35 to 37mpg on the exact same journeys.
